Marib local authority honors SADA Organization with Shield of Excellence Award

The National Organization of Yemeni Reporters SADA has on Thursday recieved Shield of Excellence award provided by the local authority of Marib Governorate.

The organization was honored during an event, organized by the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, to award 31 local and international organizations working as humanitarian partners in the Governorate of Marib with the aim of boosting perfomance and promote greater excellence in the humanitarian and rights sectors.

Deputy Governor of Marib Abd Rabbu Miftah praised in his word efforts exerted by the organizations in past period to help ease the suffering of people and internally displaced persons who were forced by Houthi militia to flee from homes, villages and cities.

For his part, Director of Social Affairs and Labor office in Marib called on international organizations working in the humanitarian field to maintain justice and equality in their interventions in accordance with the real needs between Houthi-held areas and the government-held areas.

Chairwoman of Marib Girls Foundation, Intisar Al-Qadi, said in a word on behalf of CSOs, that the event is an important motivation to all organizations to offer more and help contribute to the development process in Marib Governorate.
